Marapurani Manishi
''Marapurani Manishi'' () is a 1973 Indian Telugu-language drama film directed by T. Rama Rao. The film stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Manjula, with music composed by K. V. Mahadevan. It is a remake of the Malayalam film ''Odayil Ninnu'' (1965), which was adapted from the novel of the same name. Nageswara Rao won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu for this film. Acharya Aatreya (born Kilambi Venkata Narasimhacharyulu ) (7 May 1921 – 13 September 1989) was an Indian poet, lyricist, playwright, and screenwriter known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre. He received the state Nandi Award for Best Lyricist in 1981 for "Andamaina Lokamani" from the film Tholi Kodi Koosindi, ''Tholikoodi Koosindi''. He is popularly known as ''Manasu Kavi (''). Chandra Mohan (born Mallampalli Chandrasekhara Rao; 23 May 1944) is an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Telugu films. He has garnered one Filmfare Award South and two Nandi Awards. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered as one of the greatest singers of Telugu cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema. Mada Venkateswara Rao (4 June 1935 - 24 October 2015) was an Indian actor from Andhra Pradesh. He acted in more than 600 films. He played notable roles in the films ''Mutyala Muggu'', '' Lambadolla Ramdasu'', and '' Mayadari Malligadu''. He was known for his comedy roles. He worked as an engineer in the state civil department before becoming an actor. He entered theater as a stage artist and also worked as a cine journalist.
