Manuela Schmermund
Manuela Schmermund (born 30 December 1971) is a German Paralympic sport shooter. Schmermund has paraplegia which was caused by damage to her spinal cord in a car accident in 1992. She competes in SH1 (classification), SH1 classification events. She has competed at the Paralympic Games in Shooting at the 2000 Summer Paralympics, 2000; in Shooting at the 2004 Summer Paralympics, 2004, where she won a gold medal in the Shooting at the 2004 Summer Paralympics – Women's 10 metre air rifle standing SH1, 10 metre air rifle standing SH1 event and a bronze medal in the Shooting at the 2004 Summer Paralympics – Women's 50 metre rifle 3 positions SH1, 50 metre rifle 3 positions SH1 event; in Shooting at the 2008 Summer Paralympics, 2008, where she won a silver medal in the Shooting at the 2008 Summer Paralympics – Women's 10 metre air rifle standing SH1, 10 metre air rifle standing SH1 event; in Shooting at the 2012 Summer Paralympics, 2012, where she won a silver medal in the Shooti ... Niederaula
Niederaula is a market community in Hersfeld-Rotenburg district in northeastern Hesse, Germany, 59 km south of Kassel. Geography Location The community lies on the Fulda between the outliers of the Rhön, the Vogelsberg and the Knüllgebirge (ranges). Within town limits, the rivers Aula, Jossa and Hattenbach all empty into the Fulda. The nearest major towns or cities are Bad Hersfeld, 10 km to the northeast, Alsfeld, 24 km to the west and Fulda, 29 km to the south. Neighbouring communities Niederaula borders in the north on the community of Kirchheim and the town of Bad Hersfeld, in the east on the community of Hauneck, in the south on the community of Haunetal (all in Hersfeld-Rotenburg) and the town of Schlitz (in the Vogelsbergkreis) and in the west on the community of Breitenbach am Herzberg (in Hersfeld-Rotenburg).
