Manuel Yarza
Manuel Yarza (1884 – Unknown) was a Spanish footballer who played as a midfielder who played for Madrid FC (now known as Real Madrid). Along with his brother Joaquín Yarza, he was a historic member of Madrid FC and won the Copa del Rey four times in a row, between 1905 and 1908. Furthermore, he is one of the only players to have reached the Copa del Rey Final six times in a row, doing so between 1905 and 1910 with Madrid FC and Club Español de Madrid. Club career Born in Vigo as the son of an innovator of the naval industrial sector José Joaquín Yarza Albea, a native of Donostia, he began his career at Moderno FC during the 1903–04 season, but just a few months later the club folded due to financial reasons, and it had to merge with Madrid FC (the merger of the entities briefly known as Madrid-Moderno FC), and he and his brother joined the first team of Madrid, for which he played until 1908. Real Vigo Sporting Club, was a Spanish football club based in Vigo, Galicia, founded in 1905. The Copa del Rey 1907 was the 5th staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spanish football cup competition. The competition started on 24 March 1907, and concluded on 30 March 1907, with the Final Playoff, in which Madrid FC lifted the trophy for the third time in a row after beating Club Vizcaya 1–0 with a goal from Manuel Prast. The Copa del Rey 1906 was the 4th staging of the Copa del Rey, the Spain, Spanish Association football, football cup competition. The competition started on 9 April 1906, and concluded on 11 April 1906 with the last group stage match. Real Madrid CF, Madrid FC lifted the trophy for the second time with two victories, over Recreativo de Huelva and Athletic Bilbao, with the three teams that entered the tournament playing in a triangular. The Campeonato Regional Centro (Spanish for Central Regional Championship) was an important annual association football competition for clubs based primarily in the Castile region of Spain, including the Community of Madrid, during the first half of the 20th century. Remigio Iza
Remigio Iza Urcullu (20 January 1883 – 4 May 1960) was a Spanish footballer who played as a forward for Athletic Club. The highlight of his career was scoring the winning goal of the 1910 UECF Copa del Rey Final against Vasconia. Biography Together with José María Belauste, Luis Hurtado and Martyn Veitch, he was part of the great Athletic side that won back-to-back Copa del Rey titles in 1910 and 1911, in which Iza contributed with the winning goal of the 1910 final in a 1–0 win over Vasconia. The Copa del Rey 1910 comprised two different competitions held the same year. Due to disagreements between the reigning champion of the tournament, Club Ciclista de San Sebastián, and some of the clubs invited, in 1910 two parallel competitions were held: an "official", organized by the newly created FEF (Federación Española de Fútbol) later Royal Spanish Football Federation ( es, Real Federación Española de Fútbol, RFEF), in Madrid and an "unofficial", organized by the UECF (Unión Española de Clubes de Fútbol), in San Sebastián.
