Manuel Olivares
Manuel Olivares Lapeña (2 April 1909 – 16 February 1976) was a Spanish football striker and manager. In only 82 La Liga games he scored 56 goals, mostly for Real Madrid with which he won three major titles. Club career Born in Son Servera, Balearic Islands, Olivares joined Deportivo Alavés in 1928 and made his debut in La Liga in the 1930–31 season, scoring ten goals in 14 games as the Basques finished in eighth position (out of ten clubs). In the following off-season, he signed for country giants Real Madrid. In his first two years with the ''Merengues'', Olivares netted at an impressive rate, winning two consecutive national championships and the 1934 Copa del Presidente de la República. In the 1932–33 campaign, he scored 16 goals in only 14 matches to conquer the Pichichi Trophy. Son Servera
Son Servera is a municipality in northeast Majorca, in the Balearic Islands, Spain. Founded in 1300 by James I of Aragon, in the lands of the Servera family, Son Servera was first documented in 1354 with the name of ''Benicanella'', which would later become two towns: Son Fra Garí and Ca l'Hereu which would then become Son Servera. In 1814, king Ferdinand VII puts Son Servera municipality in Arta. In 1920, the population was struck by plague, but in 1934 the population reached 1,000 inhabitants and returned to the status of municipality. With more than 10,000 inhabitants, Son Servera contains Cala Millor, a popular summer tourist area, with a large German community. Costa de los Pinos is a summer destination for Spanish high society. Sant Joan is the patron saint of the town and is celebrated on June 24 with a fiesta. Orihuela Deportiva Club de Fútbol was a Spanish football team based in Orihuela, in the Valencian Community. Founded in 1944 and dissolved 50 years later, it managed to play two seasons in Segunda División, the first in 1952. The Campeonato Nacional de Liga de Segunda División, commercially known as LaLiga SmartBank for sponsorship reasons, is the men's second professional association football division of the Spanish football league system. Player-coach
A player-coach (also playing coach, captain-coach, or player-manager) is a member of a sports team who simultaneously holds both playing and coaching duties. A player-coach may be a head coach or an assistant coach. They may make changes to the squad and also play on the team. Very few current major professional sports teams have head coaches who are also players, though it is common for senior players to take a role in managing more junior athletes. Pichichi Trophy
In Spanish football, the Trofeo Pichichi is awarded by the sports newspaper '' Marca'' to the top goalscorer of each La Liga season. Named after the Athletic Bilbao striker Rafael "Pichichi" Moreno, the trophy has been awarded annually since the 1952–53 season. All top scorers who preceded the award's creation were retroactively named Pichichi winners by ''Marca''. Since the 2014–15 season, the top scorer of the Liga Iberdrola is also awarded the Pichichi Trophy. The Pichichi is not officially recognised by the league's governing body, the Liga Nacional de Fútbol Profesional. Balearic Islands
The Balearic Islands ( es, Islas Baleares ; or ca, Illes Balears ) are an archipelago in the Balearic Sea, near the eastern coast of the Iberian Peninsula.
