Manuel "Manolo" Martínez Gutiérrez (born December 7, 1974) is a retired Spanish shot putter. He was born in San Antonio, Texas, and is the author of four novels: ''Crossing'', (Bilingual Press, 1998), ''Drift'', (Picador USA, 2003), ''Day of the Dead'', (Floricanto Press, 2010) and ''Los Duros'' (Floricanto Press, 2014).
