Manuchar Markoishvili
Manuchar "Manu" Markoishvili ( ka, მანუჩარ მარკოიშვილი, born 17 November 1986) is a former Georgian professional basketball player. Early career Markoishvili as a young basketball player was very talented, and he turned into a professional basketball player in Georgia before he graduated from high school. He played for Basco Batumi in the 2001–02 season. In Basco, he distinguished himself, even though he was the youngest player of the team. Professional career Markoishvili was scouted and recruited by the Italian League club Benetton Treviso in 2002. He would even play in the EuroLeague at the young age of 15 years old, being the youngest player to participate in the event at the time. The Georgian Basketball Super League ( ka, საკალათბურთო სუპერლიგა, Sakalatburto Superliga), also known as the Georgian Top League, is the highest professional basketball league in Georgia. The first season was played in 1991, and was won by Dinamo Tbilisi. The 1990s were dominated by BC Vita Tbilisi, who won the title a record 7 times. The Lega Basket Serie A (LBA) is a professional men's club basketball league that has been organised in Italy since 1920. The Premier A Slovenian Basketball League ( sl, 1. slovenska košarkarska liga), abbreviated as 1. The ABA League, renamed to the ABA League First Division in 2017, is the 1st-tier regional men's professional basketball league that originally featured clubs from the former Yugoslavia (Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Serbia and Slovenia). FIBA Europe Cup
The FIBA Europe Cup (FEC) is an annual professional club basketball competition organised by FIBA for eligible European clubs. It is FIBA's European-wide second level. Clubs mainly qualify for the competition based on their performance in national leagues and cup competitions, although this is not the sole deciding factor. The league was founded in 2015 as a replacement of the FIBA EuroChallenge. History On June 30, 2015, FIBA announced it would start a new league to compete with Euroleague Basketball's EuroCup.
