Emmanuel Adu, better known by his stage name Manu Crooks, is a Ghanaian-Australian rapper based in Sydney. Biography Emmanuel Adu grew up in Ghana and moved to Australia when he was 12 years old where he attended Parramatta High School. He found his love for music at an early age and began producing as a teenager. Manu has performed at many events and festivals including: Rolling Loud Festival, Splendour in the Grass, Falls Festival and Spilt Milk. In July 2022, Manu Crooks formed the group BBGB with BLESSED, B Wise, Kwame Kwame is an Akan masculine given name among the Akan people (such as the Ashanti and Fante) in Ghana which is given to a boy born on Saturday. Rich Kwame Amevor (born 6 September 1997) is an Australian rapper and record producer. He has released four EPs: ''Lesson Learned'' in 2017, ''Endless Conversations'' in 2018, ''Please, Get Home Safe'' in 2020 and ''Thatboykwame'' in 2022. Early life Rich Kwame Amevor was born to Ghanaian parents in Auckland, New Zealand, and migrated to Australia at the age of two with his family. Kwame grew up in Glenwood, in the Blacktown District, New South Wales of Western Sydney. He attended the same church as Ghanaian-Australian rapper Manu Crooks. He started making music at 16. Career Kwame first rose to prominence following a 2016 ASAP Ferg concert in The Metro Theatre, at which he was invited on stage to perform freestyle rap. James Iheakanwa, known professionally as B Wise, is a Nigerian Australian artist from Sydney, New South Wales. He released his debut album ''Area Famous'' in 2018 via the label Elefant Tracks. Biography Iheakanwa was born and raised in Liverpool, New South Wales, the son of a Nigerian social worker and entrepreneur father and an Australian nurse and maternal support worker mother. The eldest of three children, Iheakanwa spent six months in Nigeria with his father when he was 12 years old, where he discovered hip-hop influences such as Tupac Shakur, but he was shaped by life in the southwest suburbs. Falls Festival
Falls Music & Arts Festival (commonly known as Falls) is a multi-day music festival held annually in Lorne (Victoria), Marion Bay (Tasmania), Byron Bay (New South Wales) and Fremantle (Western Australia), Australia over the New Year's Eve and January period. The festival hosts contemporary music performances, dance, comedy, theatre, circus, cabaret, and other art forms.
