Manthoppu Kiliye
''Manthoppu Kiliye'' () is 1979 Indian Tamil-language film, directed by M. A. Kaja. It stars Sudhakar and Deepa, with Major Sundarrajan, Ganthimathi and Suruli Rajan in supporting roles. The film was released in 20 October 1979. Suruli Rajan played a niggard in the film which got very popular among the people. The film did well at the box office for his comedy. Plot Raghupathy is an honest manager of a cement company, Arun is a worker of this company Mohan, the dishonest owner of another cement company tries to persuade Raghupathy to buy his products and promises commission of 1 for each cement bag but he fails due to Raghupathy's honest nature. G Sudhakar (born 18 May 1959) is an Indian actor, comedian and film producer. He has appeared more than 600 films in predominantly in Telugu and Tamil language films. Vasudevan (15 June 1944 – 20 February 2011), known as Malaysia Vasudevan, was a Malaysian-Indian playback singer and actor in Tamil cinema. Early life Malaysia Vasudevan's parents were from Palakkad. Chattu Nair of Ottappalam and Ammalu of Polpulli, along with their families migrated to British Malaya in search of a livelihood. After a few years, Chattu Nair married Ammalu in an arranged marriage. Vasudevan was born on 15 June 1944 as their eighth and youngest child. Suruli Rajan was a Tamil film comedian/character artiste. He was a recipient of Tamil Nadu State Government's Best Comedian Award for the year 1981–82. Biography Suruli Rajan was born in 1938 in Periyakulam, near Theni. His father ''Ponnaiya Pillai'' worked as an accountant for farm owners of the adjoining areas in Theni. The child was named after the Surulivelar Swamy, the family deity at the temple atop a hill graced by the picturesque Suruli Falls.
