Mansionz (stylized as mansionz) is an American alternative hip hop duo composed of singer-songwriter Mike Posner and hip hop recording artist blackbear. They released their self-titled debut album on March 24, 2017. History 2016–present: Beginnings and debut album Mansionz was formed when longtime collaborators Matthew Musto and Mike Posner formally came together as a musical duo in late 2016. At that time, the two musicians were already good friends and had worked together multiple times in the past on singles such as Justin Bieber's "Boyfriend," as well as several of their own tracks. On December 9, 2016, Musto and Posner released their debut single under the name Mansionz, entitled "Stfu." The track features rapper Spark Master Tape and has been described as a "slow R&B serenade". It received mostly positive reviews. Cydel Charles Young (born September 15, 1984), known professionally as CyHi the Prynce, is an American rapper and singer. In 2009, Young signed his first major-label contract with Konvict Muzik, with the backing of Def Jam Recordings. Matthew Tyler Musto (born November 27, 1990), professionally known as Blackbear (stylized as blackbear), is an American musician, singer, songwriter, and record producer. He has released six studio albums, six EPs, one mixtape and two collaborative albums. Musto is also a member of the alternative hip hop duo Mansionz with singer-songwriter Mike Posner. Early life Musto was born in Daytona Beach, Florida, and moved to Palm Coast as a child. His father is of Italian descent. Loote is an American pop duo based in New York City consisting of Jackson Foote and Emma Lov Block. They released their debut single, "High Without Your Love", in May 2017 through Island Records. Background Block's career began by writing jingles for commercials and children's television networks. By age 13, she was performing her songs at the Bitter End, on Bleecker Street, the oldest rock and roll club in New York City.
