Mansfield Timberview High School (THS) is a secondary school located in Arlington, Texas, United States. It is a Mansfield Independent School District campus. Its mascot is the wolf. Timberview High School was named an AVID National Demonstration School in 2016 and an AVID School-wide Site of Distinction in 2017. The school serves sections of Arlington, Mansfield, and Grand Prairie. Timberview serves several communities, including Lake Port Village. History On October 6, 2021, a shooter (Timothy George Simpkins) opened fire just after 9:15 a.m., shooting three people, including a student attending Mansfield Timberview High School, who was left in critical condition. Texas A&M Aggies refers to the students, graduates, and sports teams of Texas A&M University. The nickname "Aggie" was once common at land-grant or "ag" (agriculture) schools in many states. Aldrich Bailey Jr. (born February 6, 1994) is an American sprinter. He graduated from Mansfield Timberview High School in Arlington, Texas in 2012, and was committed to Texas A&M University in 2012. In 2014 Bailey transferred to the University of Texas as a Track and Field Athlete. On April 28, 2012, Bailey broke the U.S. High School Record in the 400 metres, previously held by Calvin Harrison of North Salinas High School, at the Texas Class 5A Region I meet in Lubbock, Texas. Harrison had held the record since 1993, a year before Bailey was born. He was an All-USA high school track and field team selection by ''USA Today'' in 2011 and 2012.
