Paul Dougherty (born 12 May 1966) is an English former professional soccer player and soccer coach who began his career with Wolverhampton Wanderers in England. He then moved to the United States where he became a journeyman player, bouncing through sixteen teams in multiple indoor and outdoor leagues. He is currently the head coach of the San Diego WFC SeaLions, who play in the Women's Premier Soccer League. Sam George (born June 29, 1970 in Mission Viejo, California) is a retired American soccer midfielder who played two seasons in the Western Soccer Alliance, three in the Continental Indoor Soccer League and four in Major League Soccer. Youth George grew up playing soccer with the North Huntington Beach Futbol Club. In 1988, he entered UCLA where he played on the Bruins soccer team from 1988 to 1991. Ritchie Kotschau
Richard Scott Kotschau (born November 22, 1975) is an American former soccer player who last played as a defender for the Real Salt Lake of Major League Soccer. Club career Kotschau was born in Levittown, New York. After playing college soccer at George Mason University, where he helped his team to their first-ever NCAA Tournament appearance, Kotschau was drafted by the Chicago Fire second overall in the 1998 MLS College Draft. Although he helped the Fire to the MLS Cup and US Open Cup double in his rookie year he was traded to the Tampa Bay Mutiny midway through the 1999 season. Midway through 2001, Kotschau was part of the deal that sent Carlos Valderrama to the Colorado Rapids. 1997 MLS Expansion Draft
The 1997 MLS Expansion Draft was held November 6, 1997. Two teams participated, the Chicago Fire and Miami Fusion F.C., both expansion Major League Soccer clubs starting play in the 1998 season. Format Each team in the league made ten players, including at least one foreign player, available for the Fire and Fusion to select. From this pool of available players, the two teams then selected twelve players. Although Paul Caligiuri of the Los Angeles Galaxy was listed as exposed, he had recently won a lawsuit against the league which forced the league to place him with the Galaxy as his original contract with the league had stipulated. The lateral collateral ligament (LCL, long external lateral ligament or fibular collateral ligament) is a ligament located on the lateral (outer) side of the knee, and thus belongs to the extrinsic knee ligaments and posterolateral corner of the knee. The medial collateral ligament (MCL), or tibial collateral ligament (TCL), is one of the four major ligaments of the knee. It is on the medial (inner) side of the knee joint in humans and other primates. Its primary function is to resist outward turning forces on the knee. Anterior Cruciate Ligament
The anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) is one of a pair of cruciate ligaments (the other being the posterior cruciate ligament) in the human knee. The two ligaments are also called "cruciform" ligaments, as they are arranged in a crossed formation. In the quadruped stifle joint (analogous to the knee), based on its anatomical position, it is also referred to as the cranial cruciate ligament. The term cruciate translates to cross. Gerard Lagos
Gerard Lagos (born 25 August 1968) is an American former professional soccer player who played for the Minnesota Thunder. His father is Buzz Lagos and his brother is Manny Lagos. Professional Lagos spent his entire career with the Minnesota Thunder, scoring the team's first goal in 1990. The Thunder were created by Lagos' father Buzz in 1990 as an unaffiliated amateur team. The Thunder played their first game against the professional Winnipeg Fury of the Canadian Soccer League. Lagos scored the first goal of the game, a 2-1 victory for the Thunder. The USL First Division (usually referred to as USL-1) was a professional men's soccer league in the United States and Canada from 2005 to 2010. During its existence, it formed the second tier of soccer in the United States soccer league system behind Major League Soccer. It was operated by United Soccer Leagues (USL) and was known as the A-League, from 1997 until 2004.
