The Minister of Sport, Culture and Heritage (; formerly Minister of Culture, Heritage, Tourism and Sport) is the cabinet position in Manitoba that oversees the Department of Sport, Culture and Heritage. Flor Marcelino, (born October 5, 1951) is a politician in Manitoba, Canada. She was elected to the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba in the 2007 provincial election, for the electoral division of Wellington. In the 2011 provincial election, she was re-elected to a second term in office in the new electoral district of Logan. Marcelino is a member of the New Democratic Party. On May 7, 2016, she was named interim leader of the party and leader of the opposition in the Manitoba legislature following the defeat of the NDP government in the provincial election and the resignation of party leader Greg Selinger. Eric Robinson (born February 5, 1953) is an Aboriginal politician in Manitoba, Canada. He was previously a member of the Manitoba legislature, and a cabinet minister in the New Democratic government of Greg Selinger. Born in Norway House, Manitoba, he was placed in a residential school at the age of five. Robinson is a member of the Cross Lake First Nation, covered under Treaty 5. Robinson worked at a variety of jobs including dishwasher in Churchill, an addiction counsellor in British Columbia and a radio disc jockey. He has been active in Aboriginal issues for several years, and has worked for the Assembly of First Nations and the Brotherhood of Indian Nations, as well as other organizations promoting native rights within Canada. Ron Lemieux, (born August 15, 1950) is a Canadian politician, who has been an elected member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba since 1999, and a former professional ice hockey player. Born in Dauphin, Manitoba, Lemieux was an ice hockey defenceman and was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins 110th overall in the 1970 NHL Amateur Draft. Lemieux started with the Dauphin Kings of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League, helping the Kings to the Manitoba championship in 1971-72. He played for the Green Bay Bobcats in the United States Hockey League for the 1974-75 season (scoring seven goals and eighteen assists), but was never called up to the NHL. He later coached girls' hockey in Lorette, Manitoba and St. Adolphe. Diane Ethel McGifford (born March 26, 1945) is a former Manitoba politician, and was a member of cabinet under Premiers Gary Doer and Greg Selinger. McGifford was born in Manchester, England, and moved to Manitoba at a young age. She was a Progressive Conservative member of the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba from 1990 to 1999, and was a senior cabinet minister of the government of Gary Filmon. Harold Gilleshammer (born April 8, 1942) is a Canadian judge and former politician in Manitoba, Canada. He was a member of the Manitoba legislature from 1988 to 2003, and a Cabinet Minister in the government of Progressive Conservative Premier Gary Filmon from 1990 to 1999. The son of Olaf Gilleshammer, he was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba.
