Manitoba Highway 34
Provincial Trunk Highway 34 (PTH 34) is a provincial primary highway located in the Canadian province of Manitoba. It runs from the U.S. border (where it meets with ND 20) to PTH 16 at the town of Gladstone. PTH 34 is two lanes and runs north-south in the south-central region of the province. It is the main highway for the towns of Crystal City, Pilot Mound, and Holland. Manitoba Transportation and Infrastructure () is the provincial government department responsible for managing infrastructure in Manitoba. It is in charge of "the development of transportation policy and legislation, and fthe management of the province’s vast infrastructure network." Manitoba Infrastructure was initially known as Public Works, which changed to Government Services in 1968, when the province expanded the department to include the provision of common services for other governmental departments. In 2016, the department name would be changed to its current one. Manitoba Agricultural Museum
The Manitoba Agricultural Museum is dedicated to collecting vintage farm machinery and buildings from 1900 and before. Located on near Austin, Manitoba in the Municipality of North Norfolk, to date they have amassed over 500 pieces of machinery and a pioneer village consisting of more than 20 buildings complete with artifacts. This is Canada’s largest collection of vintage equipment. The facilities include a camping and picnic grounds and a souvenir shop. Throughout the year the museum offers various tours, schools and hands on experiences climaxing with Annual Manitoba Threshermen's Reunion and Stampede and various other expositions. The annual Threshermen's Reunion and Stampede is held near the end of July. Manitoba Provincial Road 353
Manitoba Provincial Road 353 (PR 353) is a provincial road in southwestern region of the Canadian province of Manitoba. Route description The route begins at PTH 5 near Oberon, and terminates at PTH 10. PR 353 is an east–west highway providing access to the unincorporated communities of Brookdale and Moore Park. The road is generally quite straight and is paved for its entire length. History In the early 1990s, the Manitoba government decommissioned a number of provincial secondary roads and returned the maintenance of these roads back to the rural municipalities. A large portion of the original PR 353 was included in this decommissioning. Prior to this, PR 353 was more than twice its current length.
