Manila Nomads F.C.
The Manila Nomads Sports Club, or simply the Nomads Sports Club or the Manila Nomads, is a sports club based in Carmona, Cavite, Philippines. For much of its history its grounds was situated within Metro Manila with its last ground within the metropolis located at the Merville area in Parañaque from 1969 to 2017. The sports club is known for its activities in rugby and association football, Its football team played in the now-defunct United Football League, which was the highest level of Philippine club football. In 2011, the Nomads football team won the UFL Division 2 title after being runner-up in 2010. San Lazaro Leisure Park
The San Lazaro Leisure Park, officially known as the San Lazaro Leisure and Business Park is a mixed-used venue which features a racetrack in Carmona, Cavite, Philippines. It is the home of the Manila Jockey Club. The leisure park occupies a land and houses around 1,000 thoroughbreds as of 2015. Pagcor operates a Casino within the area. It also houses a small venue inside the turf building, for cockfighting. The venue hosts a casino and is planned to be the site of the National Teams Training Centre to be used by both the national men's and women's football team. Within the grounds of the leisure park venues to accommodate baseball, football, and wakeboarding are being built. A concert venue is also planned. Padre Faura Street
Padre Faura Street is an east-west street in downtown Manila, Philippines. It carries traffic one-way westbound from Romualdez Street to Roxas Boulevard. Starting at its eastern terminus at Paco Park in Paco district, the street heads west for a short stretch towards the intersection with Taft Avenue where the Manila Science High School is located. Past the intersection, the street traverses the district of Ermita and touches upon a number of important government institutions such as the Supreme Court and Department of Justice, as well as the Philippine General Hospital. Also located along this stretch of Padre Faura are the UP Manila College of Arts and Sciences, Robinsons Place Manila, and a number of hotels and condominiums. 2013 United Football League (Philippines)
The 2013 United Football League was the fourth season of the UFL since its establishment as a semi-professional league in 2009. Global FC are the defending champions, having won the previous Division 1 of the 2012 United Football League season. The season features 9 teams from the 2012 United Football League Division 1 and one new team promoted from the 2012 United Football League Division 2. Pachanga Diliman replaced the relegated Navy. The 2012 United Football League was the third season of the UFL since its establishment as a semi-professional league in 2009. Global FC won their first Division 1 league title on goal difference against runners-up Kaya, after a 1–1 draw with third-placers Loyola Meralco Sparks on 26 June 2012. Pachanga won the Division 2 league title after being unbeaten in all its matches. Teams Seven new clubs entered the league after the successful third season of UFL Cup. The 2011 United Football League (known as the LBC United Football League for sponsorship reasons) began with seven teams in Division 1 and eight teams in Division 2. This was the second season of the United Football League since its establishment as a semi-professional tournament in 2009. The season started on 23 January 2011 with two matches at the University of Makati Stadium. Philippine Air Force F.C. are the current defending Champions. The Philippine Air Force won their second title in the first division. The Manila Nomads won their first title in the second division and together with Stallion FC and Pasargad, they were promoted to the 2012 United Football League Division 1 after their good stint in the 2011 UFL Cup.
