The Manhattan Gardens, also known as the Manhattan Gardens at Araneta City is a transit-oriented residential development located at the Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City. The project is a joint-venture project between the Araneta Group and the Megaworld Corporation, and marketed under Empire East Land Holdings Inc., a subsidiary of the Megaworld Corporation. The development is currently under development with 1 tower topped off and 10 out of the 18 buildings completed, with 7 more towers set to be constructed in the pipeline. History and planning The origins of the Manhattan Gardens, formerly named as the "Manhattan Garden City" before the Araneta City brand relaunch, were first traced in the following months after the People Power Revolution. Novotel Manila Araneta City, alternately named Novotel Manila Araneta Center, is a 4-Star Hotel located at the Araneta City in Quezon City, Philippines. The mid-scale, full-service hotel is part of AccorHotels, and the first hotel under the Novotel brand in the Philippines. History The plans for the development of a 400-room business hotel within the Araneta City was laid out as early as 2000, as part the Araneta Center Master Plan. New Frontier Theater
The New Frontier Theater, known as the Kia Theatre between 2015 and 2018, is a multi-purpose events hall in the Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City, Metro Manila, Philippines. The theater has a 2,385 seating capacity and is used for a variety of events, ranging from performing and visual arts, local and international concerts, and fan meet-up gatherings. History First opening The theater first opened on May 27, 1967 as the New Frontier Cinema-Theater and considered to be the biggest theater in the Philippines, with a 3,500 seating capacity. Farmers Plaza is a shopping mall located at the Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City. Renovated and expanded in 1999 and in 2014, the five-level complex is the first ever commercial condominium in the Philippines, making it one of the oldest commercial buildings in the country. The mall is owned by the ACI, Inc. and offers of retail space, occupied mostly by cheap merchandise and lifestyle outlets. History Originally named the "Coliseum Farmers Market and Shopping Center", the mall was constructed in 1967, and opened its doors in 1969. Ali Mall is a shopping mall at the Araneta City in Cubao, Quezon City beside SM Cubao, and is owned by The Araneta City Inc. (ACI, Inc.), a subsidiary of the Araneta Group. The first major shopping mall in the Philippines, the retail area was named in honor of boxer Muhammad Ali, and was built in 1976, making it one of the oldest malls in the country. History Construction on the mall began in 1975 after Muhammad Ali's boxing victory against Joe Frazier in Araneta Coliseum, dubbed "Thrilla in Manila".
