Manfred Ugalde
Manfred Alonso Ugalde Arce (born 25 May 2002) is a Costa Rican professional footballer who plays as a forward for Russian Premier League club Spartak Moscow and the Costa Rica national team. Club career Debuting for Saprissa in early 2019, Ugalde scored two goals in a 3–1 victory over Belmopan Bandits in CONCACAF League play on 31 July 2019. He scored his first professional hat-trick in a 6–0 victory over Limón on 21 October. In November, Ugalde was named as the Best Younger Player of the 2019 CONCACAF League tournament, with four goals in seven matches. In July 2020 Ugalde signed a contract with City Football Group and joined Belgian First Division B club Lommel. On 25 June 2021, Ugalde joined Eredivisie side Twente on a season-long loan deal. On 1 July 2022, the loan was renewed for the 2022–23 season. On 6 July 2023, Ugalde signed for Twente on a permanent basis for four years. CONCACAF League
The CONCACAF League was an annual continental club football competition organized by CONCACAF as its second-tier continental competition. It was announced on 8 May 2017. The competition uses a knockout cup format with each round having two legs. The top six teams proceed to the CONCACAF Champions League. From 2019 to 2022, the tournament featured 22 teams, an increase from 16 in the 2017 and 2018 editions. The competition ended after the 2022 edition due to the expansion of the CONCACAF Champions League, starting with the 2024 edition. Two regional cup competitions – the Central American Cup and the Caribbean Cup – were created as qualifying competitions of the CONCACAF Champions League. The Challenger Pro League (previously known as ''1B Pro League'') is the second-highest division in the Belgian football league system, one level below the Belgian First Division A. It was created by the Royal Belgian Football Association in 2016, replacing the Belgian Second Division. The 2019–20 Liga FPD season, also known as Liga Promérica for sponsorship reasons, is the 99th season since its establishment. The tournament is divided into two championships, the Apertura and Clausura, each in an identical format and each contested by 12 teams. The Voit Loxus is the official match ball of the tournament. San Carlos are the defending champions, after defeating Saprissa in the Clausura 2019 tournament. The Primera División of Costa Rica, commonly known as Fútbol de Primera División (FPD), and Liga Promerica for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional association football division in Costa Rica. It is administered by the Unión de Clubes de Fútbol de la Primera División (UNAFUT). The league consists of 12 teams, with the last-placed team relegated to the Liga de Ascenso. The league was founded in 1921, with Herediano crowned as the first champions. Saprissa is the most successful club having won the championship a record 37 times. Claudio Alejandro Vivas (born 12 August 1968), is an Argentine professional football manager and former player who played as a goalkeeper. The 2023 CONCACAF Gold Cup will be the 17th edition of the CONCACAF Gold Cup, the biennial international men's football championship of the North, Central American and Caribbean region organized by CONCACAF. Luis Fernando Suárez Guzmán (born 23 December 1959) is a Colombian football manager and former player who played as a defender. He is the current manager of the Costa Rica national football team. Suárez has managed in six Latin American countries: Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Honduras, Mexico and Costa Rica.
