Manel Ruano
Francisco Manel Ruano Bausán (born 16 July 1974) is a Spanish retired footballer who played as a right winger, and is the current manager of CD Estepona FS. Playing career Born in Barcelona, Catalonia, Ruano started playing football with UDA Gramenet in 1993, in Segunda División B. The following year, he joined Atlético Madrid; initially assigned to the reserves also in the third division, he made his first-team debut on 4 January 1995 by starting in a 0–0 away draw against CD Mensajero in the Copa del Rey. Ruano first appeared in La Liga on 15 January 1995, coming on as a second-half substitute in a 1–1 home draw against SD Compostela. In June, after 12 competitive matches, he moved to Real Valladolid. After only three competitive appearances, Ruano was loaned to fellow top-level club Rayo Vallecano in January 1996. In association football, a substitute is a player who is brought on to the pitch during a match in exchange for an existing player. Substitutions are generally made to replace a player who has become tired or injured, or who is performing poorly, or for tactical reasons (such as bringing a striker on in place of a defender). A player who has been substituted during a match takes no further part in the game, in games played under the standard International Football Association Board Laws of the Game. Substitutions were officially added to the Laws of the Game in 1958. Prior to this most games were played with no changes permitted at all, with occasional exceptions in cases of extreme injury or players not arriving to matches on time. CD Mensajero
Club Deportivo Mensajero is a Spanish football team based in Santa Cruz de la Palma, in the autonomous community of Canary Islands. Founded on 6 January 1922, it plays in Segunda División RFEF – Group 4, holding home games at ''Nuevo Estadio Silvestre Carrillo'', with a capacity of 6,000 spectators. History Mensajero's history can be traced to 1922 when a group of friends in Santa Cruz de la Palma formed a youth team.
