Manel Guillen I Sola (born 19 May 1967) is a Spanish businessman, lawyer and activist investor. Manel Guillen received a J.D in Law from the Law School of the University of Barcelona in 1991 and an MBA from the IESE Business School, University of Navarra in 1995. He is an active member of the Il•lustre Col•legi d'Advocats de Barcelona, member of the Loan Syndication and Trading Association, the Turnaround Management Association and a member of the Cercle d'Economia de Barcelona. The Liga ACB, known as Liga Endesa for sponsorship reasons, is the top professional basketball division of the Spanish basketball league system. In finance, a high-yield bond (non-investment-grade bond, speculative-grade bond, or junk bond) is a bond that is rated below investment grade by credit rating agencies. These bonds have a higher risk of default or other adverse credit events, but offer higher yields than investment-grade bonds in order to compensate for the increased risk.
