She achieved popularity first by dancing and singing traditional Arabic music with a pop sensibility, and later singing in ..., released in 1998 and produced by Relax-In international. It was released 1 year after the previous album Habeit Ya Leil and is still considered to be the biggest selling album of Nawal's career. Nawal El Zoghbi ( ar, نوال الزغبي, also spelled Nawal Al Zoghbi; born 29 June 1972) is a Lebanese pop singer. She achieved popularity first by dancing and singing traditional Arabic music with a pop sensibility, and later singing in the Gulf dialect, and also embracing newer trends in Arabian music. ''Maloum'' ( ar, مالوم) is the sixth Arabic language album by Nawal Al Zoghbi, released in 1999 produced by Relax-In international. It was released 1 year after the previous album Mandam Aleik. The biggest hit of this album remains "Dal'ouna" which was one of the best songs of the year 1999. Nawal sang this song on various TV shows including "Ya Leil Ya Ein", "A tribute to Lebanese President", "LBCI Anniversary Show" and "New Year's Eve Special" on MTV. Tariq ( ar, طارق) is an Arabic word and given name. Etymology The word is derived from the Arabic verb , ('), meaning "to strike", and into the agentive conjugated doer form , ('), meaning "striker". It became popular as a name after Tariq ibn Ziyad, a Muslim military leader who conquered Iberia in the Battle of Guadalete in 711 AD. In literature and placenames Ṭariq is used in classical Arabic to refer to a visitor at night (a visitor "strikes" the house door).
