Manase Mandiram
''Manase Mandiram'' () is a 1966 Indian Telugu-language romantic drama film, produced by Yarra Appa Rao and directed by C. V. Sridhar. It stars Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Savitri, with music composed by M. S. Viswanathan. The film was a remake of Sridhar's own Tamil film ''Nenjil Or Aalayam'' (1962). Plot The film begins at a hospital where Dr. Raghu dedicated his life to his medical profession and runs a cancer hospital. Once Seeta his ex-lover, who was forcibly married to a wise person Ramu arrives at his hospital and her husband is diagnosed with cancer and terminally ill. Raghu & Seeta are very much uncomfortable interacting in front of Ramu. Seeta suspects that Raghu will not be able to give proper treatment to Ramu because of his love interest in her. Akkineni Nageswara Rao
Akkineni Nageswara Rao (20 September 1923 – 22 January 2014), widely known as ANR, was an Indian actor and producer, known for his works majorly in Telugu cinema. He starred in many landmark films in his seventy five-year career, and became one of the most prominent figures of Telugu cinema. Nageswara Rao received seven state Nandi Awards, and five Filmfare Awards South. He is a recipient of the Dada Saheb Phalke Award and Padma Vibhushan, India's second highest civilian award, for his contributions to the fields of Art and Cinema. Sarada (born Saraswati Devi; 25 June 1945) is an Indian actress and politician. Known for her work predominantly in Malayalam films and Telugu films , Sarada is the recipient of three National Awards. She has also appeared in few Tamil, Hindi as well as Kannada language films. She is also known as Urvasi Sarada as National Film Award for Best Actress was officially designated the ''Urvasi Award''. Ghantasala Venkateswararao (4 December 1922 – 11 February 1974), known mononymously by his surname as Ghantasala, was an Indian playback singer and film composer known for his works predominantly in Telugu and Kannada cinema and also in Tamil, Malayalam, Tulu and Hindi language films. He is considered as one of the greatest singers of Telugu cinema. In 1970, he received the Padma Shri award, India's fourth highest civilian award for his contribution to Indian cinema.
