Manas (russian: Мана́с) is an urban locality (an urban-type settlement) in Karabudakhkentsky District of the Republic of Dagestan, Russia. As of the 2010 Census, its population was 5,357. The classification system of inhabited localities in Russia and some other post-Soviet states has certain peculiarities compared with those in other countries. Classes During the Soviet time, each of the republics of the Soviet Union, including the Russian SFSR, had its own legislative documents dealing with classification of inhabited localities. People's Assembly Of The Republic Of Dagestan
The People's Assembly of the Republic of Dagestan (russian: Народное собрание Республики Дагестан, Narodnoye sobraniye Respubliki Dagestan) is the regional parliament of Dagestan, a federal subject of Russia.
