The company was founded in 2014 by Saman Rahmanian and Dan Teran as a management platform including vendors for cleaning and maintenance services. In 2017 the company launched their marketplace which expanded their services to include IT support, inventory management, administrative staffing, and security. Managed by Q was operating as an independently run business as part of shared workspace provider WeWork, and has offices in New York City, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Boston. David Stern
David Joel Stern (September 22, 1942 – January 1, 2020) was an American lawyer and business executive who was the commissioner of the National Basketball Association (NBA) from 1984 to 2014. Stern oversaw NBA basketball's growth into one of the world's most popular sports during the 1990s and 2000s.
