''Mamma Mia, What an Impression!'' (Italian: ''Mamma mia, che impressione!'') is a 1951 Italian comedy film directed by Roberto Savarese and starring Alberto Sordi, Giovanna Pala and Carlo Giustini. It was shot at the Farnesina Studios of Titanus in Rome. The film's sets were designed by the art director Alfredo Montori. Roberto Savarese (1910–1996) was an Italian screenwriter and film director. Titanus
Titanus is an Italian film production company, founded in 1904 by Gustavo Lombardo (1885–1951). The company's headquarters are located at 28 Via Sommacampagna, Rome and its studios on the Via Tiburtina, 13 km from the centre of Rome. Lombardo ran the studios until his death in 1951. His son, Goffredo Lombardo (1920–2005) and later his grandson, Guido Lombardo have continued to run the company. The company has been responsible for hundreds of Italian productions. Titanus made many peplum films and comedies featuring Totò and Franco and Ciccio. Francesco "Checco" Rissone (7 July 1909 – 26 September 1985) was an Italian film, stage and television actor. Life and career Rissone was born in Turin, the younger brother of the more famous Giuditta. He debuted on stage at a young age and often worked in the same companies as his sister. Luigi Pavese (25 October 1897 – 13 December 1969) was an Italian actor and voice actor. Biography Born in Asti, Pavese started his career in 1916 working as a silent film actor at 19 years of age. He then began his theatrical debut in 1921 and eventually worked his way up to becoming a film actor by the 1930s. He appeared in more than 170 films between 1916 and 1969. The marathon is a long-distance foot race with a distance of , usually run as a road race, but the distance can be covered on trail routes. The lira (; plural lire) was the currency of Italy between 1861 and 2002.
