"Mamiii" is a song recorded by American singer Becky G and Colombian singer Karol G. It was released by Kemosabe Records, RCA Records and Sony Music Latin on February 11, 2022 as the third single from Gomez's second Spanish studio album ''Esquemas'' (2022). It was written by Gomez, Giraldo, Elena Rose and Daniel Echavarría Oviedo and produced by the latter. The cover art shot by photographer Alfredo Flores. It is Gomez and Giraldo's second collaboration, following " Mi Mala (Remix)" released in February 2018. It earned both artists their highest-charting single on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100. Commercial performance The song reached a peak of number 15 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100, earning both artists their second top 40 in the nation, as well as their highest-charting single on the chart. The 29th ''Billboard'' Latin Music Awards ceremony, presented by ''Billboard'' to honor the most popular albums, songs and performers in Latin music, took place on September 29, 2022, at the Watsco Center in Coral Gables, Florida. ''Esquemas'' (Spanish for "Schemes") is the second Spanish-language studio album by American singer Becky G. It was released on May 13, 2022 through Kemosabe Records, RCA Records and Sony Music Latin. ''Esquemas'' debuted at number 92 on the US ''Billboard'' 200, including number 5 on the Top Latin Albums and number 1 on the Latin Pop Albums chart with 11,000 album equivalent units. Background Gomez first announced the album through Instagram by unveiling the album's cover art and title just hours after the album’s fourth single "No Mienten" was released.
