Mallory Souliotis
Mallory Souliotis (born April 1, 1996) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman, currently playing in the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF) with the Connecticut Whale. Career Early career During high school, Souliotis played for the Noble and Greenough School, being named to the NEPSAC Division 1 Second All-Star Team in 2014. From 2014 to 2018, she attended Yale University, putting up 70 points in 117 NCAA games. She picked up 9 points in 26 games in her rookie collegiate season, being named her team's most improved player at the end of the year. Her production jumped up to 25 points in 29 games the following season, leading Yale in scoring and her 21 assists the third-highest single-season total in the university's history. In her senior year, she led all Ivy League defenders in scoring with 24 points in 31 games, and was named a First Team All-Ivy and a Third Team All-ECAC. Acton, Massachusetts
Acton is a town in Middlesex County, Massachusetts, United States, approximately west-northwest of Boston along Massachusetts Route 2 west of Concord and about southwest of Lowell. 2019–20 NWHL Season
The 2019–20 NWHL season was the fifth season of the National Women's Hockey League. All five teams from the previous season returned: the Boston Pride, Buffalo Beauts, Connecticut Whale, Metropolitan Riveters, and the Minnesota Whitecaps. The NWHL completed the semifinal round of the 2020 Isobel Cup playoffs, but had to postpone the championship game between Boston and Minnesota originally scheduled for March 13, 2020, due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. On May 15, the final was cancelled and the Isobel Cup was not awarded. Kaleigh Fratkin (born March 24, 1992) is a Canadian women's ice hockey player with the Boston Pride of the Premier Hockey Federation (PHF). The third-longest tenured player and leading scorer among defenders in PHF history, she was the first Canadian player to sign a contract in the league, is a four-time PHF all-star, and is a two-time PHF Defender of the Year in 2020 and 2021. The National Marrow Donor Program (NMDP) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1986 and based in Minneapolis, Minnesota, that operates the Be The Match Registry of volunteer hematopoietic cell donors and umbilical cord blood units in the United States. Karilyn Pilch (born December 17, 1986) is an American professional ice hockey executive and current general manager of the Boston Pride in the NWHL. Early life Pilch was born on December 17, 1986, in Salem, New Hampshire, United States to parents Maureen and Frank. While attending Salem High School, Pilch became the first female to play for the Salem High varsity hockey team. Career Boston University Upon graduating from high school, Pilch went on to play nine games as a backup goalie for Boston University. Torey Krug ( ; born April 12, 1991) is an American professional ice hockey defenseman currently playing for the St. Louis Blues of the National Hockey League. Krug previously played for the Boston Bruins from 2012 to 2020. Being undrafted, he played NCAA hockey at Michigan State University, also playing for the Indiana Ice of the United States Hockey League (USHL), winning the Clark Cup with the latter, the team's first-ever title.
