Mali National Under-20 Football Team
Mali national under-20 football team, represents Mali in association football at an under-20 age level and is controlled by Malian Football Federation, the governing body for football in Mali. The current coach is Mahamoutou Kane. Their greatest achievement to date is finishing third in both the 1999 FIFA U-20 World Cup and in the 2015 FIFA U-20 World Cup, where they defeated Senegal 3-1 in the third-place match. Malian Football Federation
The Malian Football Federation (french: Fédération Malienne de Football, FMF) is the governing body of football in Mali. Founded in 1960, it joined the CAF in 1962 and has been affiliated with FIFA since 1964. Its first general secretary was Garan Fabou Kouyate. Famous leaders are Amadou Diakite and Tidiane Niambele. The federation was suspended by FIFA on 17 March 2017. The federation bureau was dissolved in July 2005 due to Malian national football team's poor performance during the World Cup and the African Nations Cup qualifying of 2006. El Bilal Touré (born 3 October 2001) is a Malian professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Atalanta and the Mali national team. Club career Reims On 3 January 2020, Touré signed his first professional contract with Reims. Stade Malien is a Malian professional football and sports club based in Bamako. One of the two dominant clubs of Malian football, their eastern Bamako training grounds host other sports as well, including a successful basketball club. Football club Stade Malien de Bamako was founded in 1960 as a result of a fusion between ''Jeanne d'Arc'' and ''Espérance de Bamako''.
