Malena Belafonte
Malena Belafonte (born Malena Mathiesen) is a former international fashion model turned singer, performer, producer, entrepreneur and creative director. She is the daughter-in-law of singer Harry Belafonte and married to his only son, David Belafonte. Her sister-in-law is actress Shari Belafonte. Life Malena Mathiesen Belafonte was born and raised in Jyderup, Denmark, but lives in New York City where she was contracted with Wilhelmina Models NYC. Her parents are Irmgard Mathiesen and Aksel H. Mathiesen. Irmgard is a soloist who was a docent at the Royal Conservatory of Denmark. Aksel was a composer who led the acclaimed orchestra Concentus Musicus of Denmark. A model is a person with a role either to promote, display or advertise commercial products (notably fashion clothing in fashion shows) or to serve as a visual aid for people who are creating works of art or to pose for photography. Though models are predominantly female, there are also male models, especially to model clothing. Models may work professionally or casually. Gipsy Kings
Gipsy Kings are a group of flamenco, salsa, and pop musicians from Arles and Montpellier in southern France, who perform mostly in Catalan but also mix in Spanish with southern French dialects. Although the group members were born in France, their parents were mostly ''gitanos'', Spanish Romani who fled Spain during the 1930s Spanish Civil War. They are known for bringing rumba flamenca, a pop-oriented music distantly derived from traditional flamenco music, to worldwide audiences. The group originally called itself Los Reyes. ''City Streets'' is the 14th album by American singer-songwriter Carole King, released in 1989. It was her first album after six-year hiatus from her recording career, co-produced by Rudy Guess who supported her as a backing guitarist in later years. The title track features a guitar solo by Eric Clapton. It was released as a single and became a Top 20 hit in the US ''Billboard'' Adult Contemporary chart. Clapton also played the guitar on "Ain't That the Way". Another notable guest musician is Branford Marsalis, who played the saxophone on "Midnight Flyer".
