Malcolm Turner
Malcolm Turner is an athletics administrator who most recently served as the Athletic Director at Vanderbilt University. Prior to this role, he served as the president of the NBA G League. Early life Turner attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was a Morehead-Cain Scholar. He was member of Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. He graduated with a business degree and was a Rhodes Scholar finalist. He earned joint J.D. and M.B.A degrees from Harvard University. Career Turner is a member of the New York State Bar. An athletic director (commonly "athletics director" or "AD") is an administrator at many American clubs or institutions, such as colleges and universities, as well as in larger high schools and middle schools, who oversees the work of coaches and related staff involved in athletic programs. Gatorade is an American brand of sports-themed beverage and food products, built around its signature line of sports drinks. Morehead-Cain Scholarship
The Morehead-Cain Scholarship (originally the Morehead Scholarship) was the first merit scholarship program established in the United States. It was founded at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1951 and was named for its benefactors, John Motley Morehead III and the Gordon and Mary Cain Foundation. In addition to covering all expenses for four years of undergraduate education at UNC, the scholarship also includes fully funded summer enrichment activities and funding for independent research, internships, and international study.
