Malcolm Figg
Malcolm John Figg is a South African politician currently serving as a Nelson Mandela Bay councillor for the Democratic Alliance. He had previously served as the municipality's Member of the Mayoral Committee (MMC) for Budget and Treasury from 2020 to 2021. From 2014 to 2019, he was a Member of the National Assembly of South Africa. Figg served as the DA's shadow minister for public works from 2017 to 2019. Political career Figg was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa in the 2014 general elections as a member of the Democratic Alliance. Having entered parliament, he was assigned to the Standing Committee on Appropriations. On 14 May 2017, Figg was elected the provincial finance chairman of the DA in the Eastern Cape. On 1 June 2017, Figg was appointed as the DA's Shadow Minister of Public Works by party leader Mmusi Maimane. Mmusi Aloysias Maimane (born 6 June 1980) is a South African politician, businessman, and Leader of Build One South Africa, a political party. Maimane is also the former Leader of South Africa, South Africa's opposition Democratic Alliance (South Africa), Democratic Alliance (DA) political party from 10 May 2015 to 23 October 2019, and the former Leader of the Opposition (South Africa), Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly of South Africa from 29 May 2014 to 24 October 2019. He is the former leader of the DA in the City of Johannesburg Metropolitan Municipality, Johannesburg City Council and the DA National Spokesperson. Patricia Kopane
Semakaleng Patricia Kopane (born 23 July 1966) is a South African politician. She is the current provincial chairperson of ActionSA in the Free State. A former member of the Democratic Alliance, she served as a Member of the National Assembly from May 2009 until her resignation from the DA in August 2022. She was the Leader of the Democratic Alliance in the Free State province from 2012 to 2020. Kopane was previously Shadow Minister of Public Works and Infrastructure, Shadow Minister of Health, Shadow Minister of Public Works and Shadow Minister of Social Development.
