Malbaie Lake (La Côte-de-Beaupré)
The Malbaie (''French: Lac Malbaie'') is a freshwater body located in the administrative region of Capitale-Nationale, in the province of Quebec, in Canada. Lac Malbaie straddles the regional county municipalities (RCMs) of: *La Côte-de-Beaupré Regional County Municipality: the unorganized territory of Lac-Jacques-Cartier; *Charlevoix Regional County Municipality: the unorganized territory of Lac-Pikauba. Lac Malbaie is the main head lake of the Malbaie River. This mountain lake is entirely located in an area where forestry has always been the predominant economic activity. In XIXth, recreotourism activities took off. Due to the altitude, this lake is normally frozen from late October to early May; however, the safe period for traffic on the ice is usually November to April. Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré
Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré is a town in La Côte-de-Beaupré Regional County Municipality, Quebec, Canada, along the Saint Lawrence River, north-east of Quebec City. The population was 2,803 according to the Canada 2006 Census. Major religious landmarks, the Basilica of Sainte-Anne-de-Beaupré and the Convent of the Redemptoristines, are located in the town. La Malbaie
La Malbaie is a municipality in the Charlevoix-Est Regional County Municipality in the Province of Quebec, Canada, situated on the north shore of the St. Lawrence River at the mouth of the Malbaie River. It was formerly known as Murray Bay. La Malbaie is the seat of the judicial district of Charlevoix. Although the main business district is located at the mouth of the Malbaie River, the town itself covers a vast area that extends inland along both sides of the Malbaie River and north and south along the St. Lawrence River. The Rivière des Neiges is a tributary of the east bank of the Montmorency River. Ste-Anne-du-Nord River is a tributary of the northwest shore of the Saint Lawrence River where it flows at the height of Beaupré. This river flows in Capitale-Nationale, in the province of Quebec, Canada. The river passes through Canyon Sainte-Anne before joining the Saint Lawrence River at Beaupré. Réserve faunique des Laurentides (), also known by its former name of parc des Laurentides, is a wildlife reserve in Quebec, Canada, located between Quebec City and the Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean region.
