Federal Route 13, Asian Highway Route AH150 (formerly Federal Route A5), is a 268 km-long federal highway in Sabah, Malaysia. It is a component of the larger Pan Borneo Highway network. This highway runs primarily along the southeastern coast of Sabah from Sandakan to Tawau. Sandakan (, Jawi: , ) formerly known at various times as Elopura, is the capital of the Sandakan District in Sabah, Malaysia. It is the second largest city in Sabah after Kota Kinabalu. It is located on the Sandakan Peninsula and east coast of the state in the administrative centre of Sandakan Division and was the former capital of British North Borneo. Telupid
Telupid ( ms, Pekan Telupid) is the capital of the Telupid District in the Sandakan Division of Sabah, Malaysia. History Telupid was first settled around 1940s and became the major route for the Sandakan Death Marches during World War II. At the time, it was mainly inhabited by the Dusun people. In 1968, as part of the wider Colombo Plan initiative, a major road begun to be constructed connecting Sandakan to Kota Kinabalu. Dubbed "Malaysian-Australian Road Project" (MARP), Telupid became the project's main office. The road was finally completed in 1978, making driving possible between the west and east coast of Sabah with relative ease. Tawau Airport ( ms, Lapangan Terbang Tawau) is an airport located north east of Tawau, Sabah, Malaysia. It is one of two airports in Sabah with immigration counters for international flights, the other being Kota Kinabalu International Airport. Tamparuli
Tamparuli is a small town and a sub-district of Tuaran on the west coast of Sabah, Malaysia. It is populated mainly by native Dusuns, while a sizeable Chinese community (of whom most are Hakkas) runs most of the shops in the town proper. As with many other small towns in Sabah and indeed Malaysia as a whole, the town itself consists of both newer concrete shoplots as well as old wooden ones, which are particularly prone to destruction by fire as evidenced in the destruction of one of the wooden shoplots in recent years. Kundasang
Kundasang is a hill station in the district of Ranau in Sabah, Malaysia that lies along the bank of Kundasang Valley within the Crocker Range, and also neighboring the town of Pekan Nabalu.
