Malang Sarr
Malang Mamadou William Georges Sarr (born 23 January 1999) is a French professional association football, footballer who plays as a defender for Ligue 1 club AS Monaco FC, Monaco, on loan from Premier League club Chelsea F.C., Chelsea. He has also represented France national football team, France at youth international level. An academy graduate of OGC Nice, Nice, Sarr scored on his senior debut in 2016 and made over 100 appearances for the club. Early life Sarr was born in Nice, Alpes-Maritimes. Club career Nice Sarr joined local side OGC Nice at the age of six. In sports, a loan involves a particular player being able to temporarily play for a club other than the one to which they are currently contracted. Loan deals may last from a few weeks to a full season, sometimes persisting for multiple seasons at a time. 2016 Nice Truck Attack
On the evening of 14 July 2016, a 19-tonne cargo truck was deliberately driven into crowds of people celebrating Bastille Day on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, France, resulting in the deaths of 86 people and the injury of 458 others.
