Telangana Legislative Assembly
The Telangana Legislative Assembly or Telangana Śāsana Sabha is the lower house of the Telangana Legislature. The Legislative Assembly of Telangana currently consists of 119 elected members and 1 nominated member from the Anglo-Indian community. Its chief engineer was Nawab Sarwar Jung. The members of the ''Vidhana Sabha'' are directly elected by people through Universal suffrage, adult franchise. Each List of constituencies of Telangana Legislative Assembly, constituency elects one member of the assembly. Members are popularly known as M.L.A's. Moosrambagh also Moosa Ram Bagh is an old suburb of Hyderabad, Telangana, India. It is named after the French military commander Monsieur Raymond who served the Nizams during the 18th century. His tomb Raymond's Tomb is located near Asman Garh Palace. The locality of "Moosa-Ram-Bagh" is named after him. Wherein, Bagh refers to "a Garden" as the area was once covered by huge greenery. 2014 Telangana Legislative Assembly Election
The Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, 2014 took place on 30 April and 7 May 2014 to elect members to the legislatures of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. It was held concurrently with the Indian general election. The results were declared on 16 May 2014. The Telugu Desam Party led by N. Chandrababu Naidu won a majority of the 175 seats in the rump Andhra Pradesh, while Telangana Rashtra Samithi led by K. Chandrashekar Rao won in the new state of Telangana. The Telangana Legislative Assembly election was held in Telangana on 7 December 2018 to constitute the second Legislative Assembly since the formation of the state in 2014. The incumbent Telangana Rashtra Samithi, the Indian National Congress, BJP, Telangana Jana Samithi, and Telugu Desam Party were the main contestants in the election. Four opposition parties in the state, INC, TJS, TDP and CPI announced the formation of a 'Maha Kootami' (Grand Alliance), to defeat the ruling TRS in the elections. Malreddy Ranga Reddy (born 1956) is an Indian politician from Telangana state. He is an MLA from Ibrahimpatnam Assembly constituency in Ranga Reddy district. He represents Indian National Congress and won the 2023 Telangana Legislative Assembly election. Early life and education Reddy hails from an agricultural family in Ibrahimpatnam, an erstwhile Hyderabad suburb. His later father M. Bal Reddy was a farmer. Sarojini Pulla Reddy (1923-2013) was the second woman Mayor of Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, veteran Indian National Congress leader and former minister of Andhra Pradesh. Early life Sarojini Pulla Reddy was born on 22 February 1923 to Konda Reddy and Anusuya Reddy in Mahbubnagar, Hyderabad State (now Telangana). Chaderghat is considered one of the busiest areas of Hyderabad city and is located on the banks of Musi River (India), Musi River. Azampura, on banks of River Moosi, is one of the old suburbs in Hyderabad, India and is close to Dabirpura. Other nearby areas include Saidabad, Chaderghat, Malakpet and Chanchalguda.
