Malaal (film)
''Malaal'' () is a 2019 Indian Hindi-language romantic drama film written and directed by Mangesh Hadawale in his Hindi directorial debut and produced by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Bhushan Kumar, Mahaveer Jain and Krishan Kumar. A remake of the 2004 Tamil-Telugu bilingual film ''7G Rainbow Colony'' by writer-director Selvaraghavan, it follows a contemporary love story between Astha Tripathi and Shiva More, played by debutants Sharmin Segal and Meezaan Jafri, who are from contrasting backgrounds and live in a Mumbai chawl. Mangesh Hadawale
Mangesh Hadawale (born 2 September 1981 in Maharashtra, India) is an Indian film writer-director and ad-film maker. His first film ''Tingya'' (2008, Marathi) received huge commercial as well as critical acclaim. ''Dekh Indian Circus'', his second film was in Hindi and has received many national and international awards. Biography Mangesh Hadawale was born in Rajuri village in Junnar, Maharashtra in a farming family. After completing his schooling in the Government Marathi School, Mangesh moved to Pune. In 2001 he completed graduation in theater from the Center for Performing Arts (also known as Lalit Kala Kendra.), University of Pune. Wrap, as used in the phrase "That's a wrap" has been used by directors since the early days of the film industry to signal the end of filming. Since the 1920s, filmmakers have been using this phrase when principal photography is concluded and the film is ready to go into post-production. At that point, it is traditional to hold a wrap party for the cast and crew of the film. This marks the end of the actors' collaboration with each other, the director, producer, and crew on the film (except for possible dubbing or pick-ups). However the leading cast members may be called in several months or years later to help promote the film when it is ready to be released. The term "wrap" is sometimes said to be an acronym for "Wind, Reel and Print", although this is disputed.
