''Malaal'' ( ur, , lit=Regret) is a Pakistani drama television series which premiered on Hum TV on 9 October 2009. Produced by Momina Duraid, ''Malaal'' is the story that shows how wrong decisions can affect everyone’s lives and also focuses that how self centered-ness gets you nowhere. The series marked the return of the duo, writer Umera Ahmad and director Mehreen Jabbar who previously collaborated for the hit serial '' Doraha''. Plot The storyline revolves around Zinia and Danish who are close friends of ten years, living in the US. Both are secretly in love with each other. But when Danish goes to Pakistan to meet his mother Afia she rejects Zinia as she is too aged to be married. Then Danish is being married to a very young woman Mahi due to his mothers' insistence. Rushk ( ) is a Pakistani rock band from Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan, formed in 2000. They gained fame through their single "Behti Naar", and its music video which was directed by Saqib Malik. Momina Duraid ( ur, ) is a Pakistani director and producer. She is a senior producer and creative head of television network Hum TV and CEO of her own production company MD Productions. She has produced and created several series including '' Dastaan'' (2010), ''Qaid-e-Tanhai'' (2010–11), '' Humsafar'' (2011–12), ''Shehr-e-Zaat'' (2012), ''Zindagi Gulzar Hai'' (2012–13), ''Diyar-e-Dil'' (2015), ''Sadqay Tumhare'' (2015), ''Mann Mayal'' (2016), ''Udaari'' (2016), ''Bin Roye'' (2016), ''Yaqeen Ka Safar'' (2017), '' Suno Chanda'' (2018) and ''Ehd-e-Wafa'' (2019). Pakistani dramas, or Pakistani serials, are televised serials produced in Pakistan. Although most of the serials are produced in Urdu, an increasing number of them are produced in other Pakistani languages such as Sindhi, Pashto, Punjabi and Balochi.
