Malaa is a French electronic music DJ and producer, who is signed to Tchami's label Confession. He broke onto the electronic music scene through his single "Notorious", which was the second release on Confession. His identity is unknown as he appears in public as a balaclava-wearing man. His participation in the Pardon My French collective suggests he is French, as all other members are. Identity Malaa's identity is unknown . It is strongly suggested that Malaa consists of a duo with DJs DJ Snake and Tchami, as they are credited often on each other's track productions and are connected to the project via remixes. Pardon My French (collective)
Pardon My French is a collective of four French DJs composed of DJ Snake, Tchami, Mercer and Malaa created in 2015. The goal of this collective is to promote electronic music in the world, but also to bring together French artists to share their passion for music. Members DJ Snake DJ Snake released his 1st album on August 5, 2016 and went platinum in less than a month. He headlined the Olympia in February 2016, then the Zenith on November 25, 2016, and the AccorHotels Arena on February 24, 2018. Tchami
Martin Joseph Léonard Bresso (; born 12 May 1985), better known by his stage name Tchami (), is a French record producer and DJ from Paris. A founding member of the Pardon My French collective, he is best known for his solo work and regarded as a pioneer of the future house genre alongside Dutch DJs Oliver Heldens and Don Diablo. When asked about the origins of his name Tchami, the French artist explained, "I used to travel a lot across Europe and Africa these past five years. Tchami is a name that has been given to me in Africa which is an honor. Fortunately it sounded catchy to me, so I kept it. That's all folks." Major Lazer is an American electronic dance music DJ trio, which includes record producer Diplo, and DJs Walshy Fire and Ape Drums. It originates from Kingston, Jamaica, and was founded in 2008 by Diplo and Switch, with Switch leaving after three years in 2011. He was then replaced by both Jillionaire and Walshy Fire. Future house is a house music genre that emerged in the 2010s in the United Kingdom, described as a fusion of deep house, UK garage and incorporating other elements and techniques of other EDM genres.
