Maksym Mazuryk ( uk, Максим Мазурик; born April 2, 1983) is a Ukrainian pole vaulter. He was born in Donetsk. He is sporter of Fenerbahçe S.K. from Turkey. Career He was the 2002 World Junior champion, and finished 8th in the pole vault final at the 2006 European Athletics Championships in Gothenburg. He won a silver medal at the 2010 European Championships in Barcelona. His personal best is 5.82 metres achieved in June 2008 in Yalta. European Championships In Athletics
The European Athletics Championships is a biennial (from 2010) athletics event organised by the European Athletics Association and is recognised as the elite continental outdoor athletics championships for Europe. The 11th IAAF World Indoor Championships in Athletics under the auspices of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) was held in Moscow from March 10 to March 12, 2006 in the Olimpiyski Sport arena. The announcement by the IAAF in November 2003 was a blow to Madrid, which was also in the running to hold the event but Spain had already held the competition twice.
