Maksim Medvedev
Maksim Borisoviç Medvedev (russian: Максим Борисович Медведев; born 29 September 1989) is an Azerbaijani professional footballer who plays as a right-back for and captains both Azerbaijan Premier League club Qarabağ and the Azerbaijan national team. Medvedev has spent his entire career at Qarabağ since becoming a professional player in 2006 and is the most capped player in the history of the club. He has won the Azerbaijan Premier League eight times and Azerbaijan Cup five times with Qarabağ. Medvedev made his debut for the Azerbaijani national team at the age of 19 and is the second most capped player in the history of the national team. Primarily as a right-back, he can also be utilized as a left-back or centre-back. The Qarabağ 2013–14 season was Qarabağ's 21st Azerbaijan Premier League season, and their sixth season under manager Gurban Gurbanov. They reached the Quarterfinals of the Azerbaijan Cup, losing to Gabala, and they were crowned Champions of the Premier League. The Qarabağ 2006–07 season was Qarabağ's 14th Azerbaijan Premier League season. They finished the season in 8th place, were knocked out of the Azerbaijan Cup at the last 16 stage by Neftchi Baku and didn't progress beyond the First qualifying round of the UEFA Cup after losing to Zimbru Chişinău. Kamran Aghayev ( az, Kamran Ağayev; born on 9 February 1986) is a retired Azerbaijani football goalkeeper. During his professional career, Agayev played in national leagues of Azerbaijan, Turkey, Portugal and Czech Republic.
