Karen Makishima
is a Japanese politician who served as Minister of Digital Affairs, Minister for Digital Reform, Minister in charge of Administrative Reforms, Minister in charge of Civil Service Reform and Minister of State for Regulatory Reform in the First Kishida Cabinet. A member of the Liberal Democratic Party, she has been a member of the House of Representatives from the Kanagawa 17th district since 2012. Makishima was born in Yokosuka, Kanagawa. Her father was an assistant to representative Junichiro Koizumi and stood as a proportional representation candidate in the 1998 House of Councillors election. She received her bachelor's and doctorate from International Christian University and master's from George Washington University. She ran for the Kanagawa 17th district seat in the 2009 election, but lost to DPJ candidate Yosuke Kamiyama. Shogo Makishima
is a fictional character who was introduced as the main antagonist in Production I.G's anime series, ''Psycho-Pass''. Makishima is responsible for several crimes, and the main cast (Public Safety Bureau officers) are in search of him. He advocates the destruction of the society created by the Sybil System, in which people are treated according to their stress level, and sees Enforcer Shinya Kogami as his nemesis. Makishima appears in most of the series' print adaptations, and makes cameo appearances in the films '' Psycho-Pass: The Movie'' (2015) and '' Psycho-Pass: Sinners of the System'' (2019). The character was created by writer Gen Urobuchi, who intended to make him look alienated from his society. Director Naoyoshi Shiotani found the character likable, paralleling Kogami. Makishima is voiced by Takahiro Sakurai in Japanese, and Alex Organ voices him in English. is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoshiki Takaya. The Guyver itself is a symbiosis, symbiotic techno-organic (or Biomechanical engineering, biomechanical) device that Human enhancement, enhances the capabilities of its host. The manga was originally serialized in Tokuma Shoten's ''Monthly Shōnen Captain'', the first appearance being in the February 18 magazine beginning in 1985. When ''Shōnen Captain'' was discontinued in 1997, the manga was picked up by Kadokawa Shoten who subsequently re-released all of the previous tankōbon originally published by Tokuma. The manga is currently serialized in Kadokawa's ''Young Ace'' magazine. It has been licensed by Viz Media, Star Comics and Chuang Yi Publishing.
