Maki Nishiyama (西山茉希, Nishiyama Maki; born November 16, 1985) is a Japanese model, and actress. Her best-known modeling work has been with the Japanese fashion magazine, ''CanCam''. Career In 2005, Nishiyama started her career as a model for the Japanese fashion magazine ''CanCam'' under an exclusive contract. She has also appeared in television advertisements for several companies, from Nivea-Kao in 2006 to McDonald's Japan in 2009. She played a role in a TV drama, ''Moon lovers'' (Tsuki no koibito) in 2010. She played the role of Nabiki Tendo in the ''Ranma ½ is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Rumiko Takahashi. , also known as , is a Japanese actor and singer. He played young men and onnagata roles of women. Biography His father is the head of the theatre troupe ''Gekidan Sujaku''. Saotome performed in '' taishū engeki''. A "female impersonator", he has performed onstage. In ''Zatoichi'', he played the child disguising himself as a geisha (Daigoro Tachibana). Though in a different troupe from Tachibana, they frequently practiced and performed together. In ''Takeshis''', Saotome played a young female impersonator and dancer. is a Japanese monthly fashion magazine published by Shogakukan. Its name supposedly derives from "I Can Campus", because girls who read it are expected to become "campus leaders". The magazine was created for fashion-conscious consumers, and offers information on fashion, makeup, bags, accessories, and related topics. The magazine is targeted as a fashion resource to novice office ladies as well as university students. The magazine has its headquarters in Tokyo. History In 2005 the Chinese version of ''CanCam'' was started. In March 2007 Shogakukan launched the sister magazine, ''AneCan'', which is targeted at women in their mid- to late twenties.
