''Make It Happen'' is a 2008 American dance film directed by Darren Grant and starring Mary Elizabeth Winstead. The screenplay was co-written by Duane Adler, who was a screenwriter for other dance films '' Step Up'' and ''Save the Last Dance''. Though the film was theatrically released internationally, the film was released direct-to-video in the United States on December 9, 2008. The Tough Alliance, or ''TTA'', was an electronic pop music duo from Gothenburg, Sweden. The duo first came together in 2003 and consisted of childhood friends Henning Fürst and Eric Berglund. Previously on Swedish record label Service, in 2006, they started their own label, Sincerely Yours. They released four EPs, ''Make It Happen,'' ''Holiday,'' ''New Waves','' and ''Prison Break'' and three full-length studio albums, ''The New School'', ''Escaping Your Ambitions'' and ''A New Chance'', (''Escaping Your Ambitions'' being an entirely instrumental album). "Make It Happen" is a dance/rock song written and performed by the Bernard Sumner/ Johnny Marr band Electronic. Produced by Electronic with Arthur Baker, it is the first track on their third album ''Twisted Tenderness''. Sumner and Marr both contribute vocals and guitar, while Jimi Goodwin from Doves provides bass and Jed Lynch plays drums and percussion.
