Majunu
''Majunu'' is a 2001 Indian Tamil-language romantic thriller film directed by Ravichandran and produced by Sunanda Murali Manohar. The film stars Prashanth and Rinke Khanna with Sonu Sood, Raghuvaran, Rati Agnihotri and Vivek appearing in other pivotal roles. The film's score and soundtrack were composed by Harris Jayaraj, whilst Priyan handled the cinematography. The film was distributed by London-based Tamil Television channel – Cee I TV. The film was released on 14 December 2001 and performed well at the box office. The movie was dubbed into Telugu with the same name. Notably, this was the first and only Tamil of yesteryear/erstwhile actress, Rinke Khanna. Plot Vasanth (Prashanth) is a post-graduate student and son of the wealthy MP Gajapathy (Raghuvaran). Ravichandran (Tamil Film Director)
Ravichandran is an Indian film director, who has directed Tamil films. After making his debut in 1998 with the successful ''Kannedhirey Thondrinal'', he has gone on to make other ventures including ''Sandhitha Velai'' and ''Majunu''. Career Ravichandran made his debut by directing ''Kannedhirey Thondrinal'' (1998), a love story featuring Prashanth and Simran Bagga, Simran, and the film gained positive reviews from critics and went on to become a commercial success. Prashanth Thiagarajan (born 6 April 1973), known professionally as Prashanth, is an Indian actor and businessman, known for his works predominantly in Tamil cinema. Besides Tamil films, he has also appeared in few Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam films. At the peak of his career in the late 1990s, Prashanth was one of the popular actors in South India. Rinke Khanna
Rinke Khanna (born Rinkle Jatin Khanna; 27 July 1977) is an Indian former actress. She is the youngest daughter of actress Dimple Kapadia and actor Rajesh Khanna, sister of Twinkle Khanna. She made her film debut with ''Pyaar Mein Kabhi Kabhi'' (1999), changing her original screen name from Rinkle to Rinke. In ''Mujhe Kucch Kehna Hai'', she played a supporting role. Rati Agnihotri (born 10 December 1960) is an Indian actress, known for acting in Hindi, as well as in Telugu and Tamil language films. Priyan (1964 – 9 November 2017) was an Indian cinematographer who has worked on Tamil language films. Beginning his career as an assistant to Balu Mahendra, Priyan began his career as an independent technician in the 1990s before establishing himself as a leading cinematographer in the Tamil film industry in the 2000s.
