John Giannini
John Manfredo Giannini (born October 31, 1962) is an American college basketball coach. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Rowan University from 1989 to 1996, the University of Maine from 1996 to 2004, and La Salle University from 2004 to 2018. Giannini led Rowan to an NCAA Division III men's basketball tournament championship in 1996. Early life The son of Italian immigrants, Giannini grew up in Elmwood Park, a suburb of Chicago, and has three younger brothers. He attended Fenwick High School in Oak Park, and received a bachelor's degree in psychology from North Central College in Naperville. Rufus Harris
Rufus D. Harris is a retired American professional basketball player. He was the America East Conference co-Player of the Year as a senior in 1979–80 while playing for the University of Maine. After graduating, Harris was selected in the 1980 NBA draft by the Boston Celtics, although he never played in the National Basketball Association. Instead, he carved a professional career in both the Continental Basketball Association and international leagues. Harris played from 1980 to 1983 in the CBA, for the Maine Lumberjacks and Lancaster Lightning. In 88 CBA games he averaged 18.8 points per game. While playing for the Maine Black Bears between 1976–77 and 1979–80, Harris scored a still-standing school record 2,206 points. Richard Barron (basketball)
Richard Barron is an American basketball coach who was most recently the head coach of the University of Maine men's basketball team. Barron previously served as the head coach of Maine's women's basketball team from 2011 to 2017 before taking a leave of absence, due to medical issues. Barron is one of the few people to coach both a men's and women's basketball at the NCAA Division I level. Robert Walsh (born February 23, 1972) is an American college basketball coach. He served as the head men's basketball coach at Rhode Island College from 2005 to 2014 and the University of Maine from 2014 to 2018. Rudy Keeling
Harold Rudolph Keeling (March 14, 1947 – July 6, 2013) was an American college basketball coach and administrator. He was a Division I head basketball coach at the University of Maine and Northeastern University, before becoming Athletic Director at Emerson College and commissioner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC). Keeling attended Bishop Dubois High School and Quincy University, where he played basketball and graduated in 1970. In 1977, he began his coaching career as head coach of Bergan High School in Peoria, Illinois. In 1980, he was hired as an assistant at Bradley University by head coach Dick Versace.
