MailOnline (also known as ''dailymail.co.uk'') is the website of the '' Daily Mail'', a newspaper in the United Kingdom, and of its sister paper ''The Mail on Sunday''. MailOnline is a division of dmg media, which is owned by Daily Mail and General Trust plc. Launched in 2003 by the Associated Newspapers’ digital division led by ANM managing director Andy Hart, MailOnline was made into a separately managed site in 2006 under the editorship of Martin Clarke and general management of James Bromley. It is now the most visited English-language newspaper website in the world, with over 11.34m visitors daily in August 2014. NewsGuard is a journalism and technology tool that rates the credibility of news and information websites and tracks online misinformation. It operates a browser extension and mobile apps for consumers as well as services for businesses, including a brand safety tool for advertisers and services for search engines, social media apps, cybersecurity firms, and government agencies. NewsGuard's trust ratings for news websites are based on nine criteria related to a source's journalistic practices. Based on the nine criteria, each site is assigned a trust score of 0-100 and an overall rating of red (generally untrustworthy) or green (generally trustworthy). The ''Charleston Daily Mail'' was a newspaper based in Charleston, West Virginia. On July 20, 2015, it merged with the ''Charleston Gazette'' to form the ''Charleston Gazette-Mail''.
