Maiju Hirvonen (born 25 December 1990) is a retired Finnish footballer. Lindstrom spend most of her career at HJK. Helsingin Jalkapalloklubi is a Finland, Finnish women's soccer, women's football team representing HJK Helsinki in the Kansallinen Liiga. HJK is the championship's most successful team by a large margin, having won 22 titles between 1971 (its founding year) and 2005. The team enjoyed their best winning streak between 1995 and 2001. The following HJK reached the semifinals of the 2001-02 UEFA Women's Cup, inaugural edition of the UEFA Women's Cup, their best result in three appearances in the competition. The Finland women's national football team, also known as nickname The Boreal Owls ( fi, Helmarit), represents Finland in international women's football. The team, controlled by the Football Association of Finland (SPL/FBF), reached the semi-finals of the 2005 European Championship, surprising the female football world having drawn with Sweden and beaten Denmark. Finland hosted the 2009 EC finals. Tikkurilan Palloseura (abbreviated TiPS) is a football club from Tikkurila in Vantaa, Finland. The club was established in 1958 and its main catchment areas comprise Tikkurila and Hakunila in Itä-Vantaa (East Vantaa). The 2009 UEFA Women's Championship, or just Women's Euro 2009, was played in Finland between 23 August and 10 September 2009. The host was appointed on 11 July 2006, in a UEFA Executive Committee meeting in Berlin and the Finnish proposal won over the Dutch proposal. Heini Mäkelä (née Tiilikainen), (born 19 December 1987) is a Finnish footballer who plays as a midfielder. Mäkelä plays for Kuopio MimmiFutis in Kuopio and the Finnish national team as a defender.
