The film is a fictional retelling of the Marcos family's last three days in Malacañang Palace before they were forced to be exiled to Hawaii during the People Power Revolution in 1986. Darryl Yap (director)
Darryl Yap (born January 7, 1987) is a Filipinos, Filipino film director, screenwriter and producer. Biography Early life and education Yap was born in Olongapo, Zambales to his parents who are school teachers. He graduated in Manila's Centro Escolar University with a mass communication degree and later enrolled at the Nanyang Technological University in Singapore to pursue a degree in public administration. Career Yap started his directing career with the short film ''Squatterina'' that highlighted the similarities between a typical Squatting in the Philippines, illegal settler in Olongapo and the disciplines of ballet. Elizabeth Oropesa (born July 17, 1954), also known as La Oropesa, or "Boots" to friends is a Filipina actress. She was a Grand Slam Best Actress winner for ''Bulaklak Ng Maynila'' (1999). The National Citizens' Movement for Free Elections or NAMFREL is an election watchdog in the Philippines. It was the first and one of the most famous election watch campaigns.
