Mahmoud Al-Mawas
Mahmoud Al-Mawas ( ar, مَحمُود الْمَوَّاس; born 1 January 1993) is a Syrian professional footballer who plays as a winger or an attacking midfielder for Al-Shorta in the Iraqi Premier League and the Syria national team. He made his international debut with Syria in 2012, aged 19. Club career Mawas started his career with Al-Karamah, where he won his first trophy, the 2009–10 Syrian Cup. Later on, he played abroad for Al-Riffa, Al-Arabi, Al-Faisaly, Al-Muharraq and Umm Salal. In October 2020, he returned to Syria to train with Taliya. In late October 2020, Romanian journals reported that he agreed to join FC Botoșani. On 11 December 2020, he made his debut for Botoșani in a 1–1 draw against Astra Giurgiu. Iraqi Premier League
The Iraqi Premier League ( ar, الدوري العراقي الممتاز) is the top level of the Iraqi football league system. Contested by 20 clubs, it is operated by the Iraq Football Association (IFA) and operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Iraq Division One. The league was formed by the IFA in 1974 as the Iraqi National Clubs First Division, the first nationwide league of clubs in Iraq. The current format sees 20 teams playing 38 matches each (playing each team in the league twice, home and away), totalling 380 matches in the season. Of the 80 teams to have competed since the inception of the league in 1974, eleven have won the title. Al-Seeb Stadium
Al-Seeb Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Seeb, Oman, Seeb, Oman. It is currently used mostly for football (soccer), football matches and is the home stadium of Al-Seeb Club. 2018 FIFA World Cup Qualification – AFC Second Round
The second round of AFC matches for 2018 FIFA World Cup qualification (and 2019 AFC Asian Cup qualification) was played from 24 May 2015 to 29 March 2016. Format A total of forty teams (teams ranked 1–34 in the AFC entrant list and six first round winners) were divided into eight groups of five teams to play home-and-away round-robin matches.
