Mahesh Kumar Malani ( ur, مہیش کمار ملانی) is a Pakistani politician who has been a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan since August 2018. He is the first non-Muslim to win a general seat (non reserved seat) in the National Assembly of Pakistan. Political career He belongs to a political Family of Tharparkar he started his political career in 1996-97 and remained President PPP District Tharparkar and president minority wing PPP Province Sindh. He contested election against Shaukat Aziz in 2004 on NA-229 Tharparkar and then he again contested general election on NA-229 Tharparkar in 2008 and elected as MNA from PPP Reserved seat for minorities from 2008-3013 and he also remained Chairman standing committee of NA on Minorities affairs. Pushpa Kumari Kohli is the first Hindu woman to become a police officer in Pakistan. She was posted as Assistant sub-inspector of police (ASI) in Sindh province after she passed the provincial competitive examination through Sindh Public Service Commission. Early life Pushpa Kumari Kohli was born 1990 in Kohli scheduled caste Hindu family. She grew up in a middle-class family in the Samaro town in the Mirpurkhas District of Sindh Province. Her father runs a grocery store and her mother works as a family planning officer in population welfare department. The Thari also known as the Dhatki (, ) are an Indo-Aryan ethno-linguistic group who reside in the Thar Desert, which is divided between Pakistan as well as India. Hinduism is the second largest religious affiliation in Pakistan after Islam. In April 2022, a no-confidence motion against Imran Khan led to his removal as the prime minister of Pakistan. The 15th National Assembly of Pakistan is the legislature of Pakistan following the 2018 general election of members of parliament (MPs) to the National Assembly of Pakistan, the lower house of the bicameral Parliament of Pakistan.
