Mahaveera (film)
''Mahaveera '' is a 1988 Indian Hindi-language film, directed by Naresh Saigal and starring Raaj Kumar, Dharmendra, Shatrughan Sinha, Raj Babbar, Dimple Kapadia in pivotal roles. Story Dharam is a poor farmer, who lives in rural India with his family consisting of his pregnant wife, a son, Deepak alias Deepu. The lecherous and cunning Thakur Amrit Singh would like to take over Dharam's cultivated plot of land but he refuses to give up this land and is knifed to death by the Thakur with his wife giving birth to a daughter, Dolly in the process. Due to the poverty of the family both brother and sister are unable to afford an education so Dolly decides to take up employment as a maid in Thakur Sher Singh mansion in order to send Deepu abroad to take police training. Raaj Kumar
Raaj Kumar (born Kulbhushan Pandit; 8 October 1926 3 July 1996) was an Indian actor who worked in Hindi films. He appeared in the Oscar-nominated 1957 film ''Mother India'' and starred in over 70 Hindi films in a career that spanned over four decades. Personal life Kulbhushan Pandit was born in Loralai, Baluchistan, British India (now Pakistan) in a Kashmiri Pandit family. Vinod Mehra
Vinod Mehra (13 February 1945 – 30 October 1990) was an Indian actor in Bollywood, Indian films. He started out as a child actor in the late 1950s before starting his film career as an adult in 1971. He acted in over 100 films from the 1970s through to his death at the age of 45 in 1990. He was also the producer and director of the film ''Gurudev (film), Gurudev'' which was released 3 years after his death. Sadhana Sargam (née Ghanekar, born 7 March 1969) is an Indian singer known for her playback career in Indian cinema predominantly in Hindi, Bengali, Telugu and Tamil language films. Amit Kumar (born 3 July 1952) is an Indian playback singer, actor, music composer. Kumar launched his own music production company, named Kumar Brothers Music. He predominantly worked in Bollywood and regional film songs since the 1970s, including 150 Hindi and Bengali compositions by R. D. Burman. After Burman's death in 1994, citing a lack of quality music composition, Kumar withdrew from playback singing and concentrated on live orchestra shows. Mahendra Kapoor (9 January 1934 – 27 September 2008) was an Indian playback singer. Utpal Dutta () (29 March 1929 – 19 August 1993) was an Indian actor, director, and writer-playwright. He was primarily an actor in Bengali theatre, where he became a pioneering figure in Modern Indian theatre, when he founded the "Little Theatre Group" in 1949.
