Mahagama
Mahagama is a census town in the Mahagama CD block in the Goddda subdivision of the Godda district in the Indian state of Jharkhand. Urja Nagar Urja Nagar is a major part of the town. It is a very organised and well planned township done by Eastern Coalfields Ltd., Dhankunda, a colony of more than 1,441 house blocks, a hospital, a shopping complex, Rajendra Stadium, and D.A.V Public School. The town premises consist of several fields and courts as playgrounds for children, parks, and three clubs for holding meetings, parties and occasional celebrations. Mahagama (community Development Block)
Mahagama is a community development block that forms an administrative division in the Godda subdivision of the Godda district, Jharkhand state, India. Geography Mahagama, the eponymous CD block headquarters, is located at . It is located 43 km from Godda, the district headquarters. Godda district is a plateau region with undulating uplands, long ridges and depressions. The western portion of the Rajmahal hills passes through the district. The plain areas have lost its once rich forests but the hills still retain some. Kajhia, Sunder and Sakri rivers flow through the district. Godda District
Godda district (Hindi: गोड्डा जिला, Santali: ᱜᱚᱰᱰᱟ ᱦᱚᱱᱚᱛ) is one of the twenty-four districts of Jharkhand state in eastern India It lies in the northeastern part of the state. The geographical area that now comprises Godda district used to be part of the erstwhile Santhal Parganas district. Godda town is the headquarters of Godda district.
